Municipal Information Systems Association of Texas

The Municipal Information Systems Association of Texas (MISATX) aims to facilitate cooperation, communication and peer-group discussions among managers and staff employed by Texas municipalities in the field of information technology; simply stated the goal is to allow our members to connect, communicate and collaborate.

Texas municipalities experience a wide host of challenges that pertain to information systems. A vast majority of these challenges are shared. These issues range from technical to managerial and often demand focused attention from IT personnel. By working together on these common issues, the association's mission is to establish a more effective and efficient means of government among technology staff. 


A Common Goal
Establishing a formal network by which members can communicate and pool resources across the State of Texas provides a valuable service for all Texas municipalities. We are grateful for support and assistance from the following organizations:
